Resources

Resources are the materials used to build and upgrade camp stations in the Workshop, craft battle items and buildings at the Forge, and feed into various camp activities. This page lists every resource, where it comes from, and what it goes into.

  • Gathered: Mining Station (Tier I) - Primary yield. Unlocked early.

  • Gathered: Carbon Station (Tier I) - Primary yield.

Polymers
  • Gathered: Polymer Station (Tier I) - Primary yield.
  • Workshop: build Botany Station, Gathering Camp, Fishing Camp, Garden, Infirmary, Recreation Area, Forge, and many upgrades
  • Forge: capsule battle items (Shield, Energy, Stealth)
Plants
  • Gathered: Botany Station (Tier I) - Primary yield. Used as a base material for medical items.
  • Infirmary: used in medical treatment recipes
  • Laboratory: some research
  • Forge: various crafted items
Mucus
  • Gathered: Pen (Tier I) - Produced passively by slugs kept in the Pen. Yield increases with Pen upgrades.
  • Expedition: Found occasionally in expedition drops.
  • Workshop: Ixion ship reconstruction (Hull repair)
Silk
  • Gathered: Pen (Tier II) - Secondary yield from the Pen. Requires Pen upgrades.
  • Workshop: Recreation Area, Infirmary, and Shelter upgrades
Chitin
  • Gathered: Hunting Camp (Tier I) - Secondary yield alongside Raw Meat. Increases with Hunting Camp upgrades.
  • Expedition: Found on map locations with creature remains.

  • Gathered: Botany Station (Tier II) - Secondary yield from the Botany Station.

  • Gathered: Pen (Tier I) - Byproduct of slug husbandry in the Pen.
  • Expedition: Found in expedition locations.
  • Workshop: build Garden, Pen and upgrades
Vegetable Goo
  • Gathered: Garden (Tier I) - Produced by the Garden when harvesting Vegetables. Fed to slugs in the Pen.
  • Pen: fed to slugs to increase Mucus production and reduce slug discomfort
Fertilizer
  • Gathered: Pen (Tier I) - Byproduct of slug waste in the Pen.
  • Expedition: Found in expedition locations.
  • Garden: applied to Garden parcels to boost Vegetable yield
