Traders
This page needs help. Some of the barter pairings and mechanic explanations below may be slightly wrong, especially for Gil, Ishtar, Enki, Ooooyuweh, and Nergal, where part of the exchange is about knowledge or stories rather than materials. If you notice something off, please get in touch.
Barter offers
Each trader has a pool of trades tied to their visit. Once you've used their pool, they tell you to come back another time (Awiii: "that's enough exchange for this time"; Ishtar: "if you want more, you'll have to come back another time"). Some traders want materials, some want knowledge or stories: Gil in particular trades items for things you tell him, not for goods.
Awiii
Nature-themed Antarian food trader. Give raw materials, get food. On her closing line she says "that's enough exchange for this time" once her pool is spent.
| Give | Receive |
|---|---|
| 20x Polymers | 6x Meat |
| 20x Carbon | 6x Fish |
Ereshkigal
Atlantean healer, one elixir per affliction. Each trade is framed in-dialogue as a cure ("eradicate disease", "bandage wounds", "forget stress", "ease hunger", "fight fatigue"). She tells you her reserves are depleted once you've drained them for the visit.
| Give | Receive |
|---|---|
| 40x Ore | 1x Elixir Hunger |
| 40x Carbon | 1x Elixir Sickness |
| 40x Carbon | 1x Elixir Injury |
| 40x Polymers | 1x Elixir Depression |
| 40x Ore | 1x Elixir Fatigue |
Gil
Antarian who trades items for stories, not materials. You pick an adventure to tell him about (jungle, river swim, mountain hike, desert crossing, Antares Prime exploration) and he hands you the corresponding biome loot. The "knowledge" check in the dialogue is gating on whether you've actually been to that biome.

| < Gift for free > | 8x Mountain Fungus |
| < Gift for free > | 8x Desert Metal |

Ishtar
Atlantean. Offers 1 Pseudo Ambrosia in exchange for information. In-dialogue she says "if it can help dethrone Marduk" and warns "don't get addicted to this power". One shot per visit.
| Give | Receive |
|---|---|
| < Gift for free > | 1x Pseudo Ambrosia |
Nergal
Atlantean rock-and-plant trader. Four dialogue branches: Minerai contre biens / infos (ore for goods or for info) and Plante contre biens / infos (plant for goods or for info). Both "for goods" branches cost materials; both "for infos" branches cost information instead, which is why two of his rewards show as free gifts in the raw extraction.

| 15x Biometal | 3x Gaseous Geode |
| < Gift for free > | 3x Crystal Amaranth |

Ooooyuweh
Antarian sage on a two-branch menu: "Acquire knowledge" (give him materials like mucus / healing powder, gain knowledge in return) or "Acquire materials" (share knowledge about Earth insects, metal properties, or geological phenomena, receive materials). The "gifts" below are the items he hands over after a knowledge discussion.

| 20x Mucus | 12x Biometal |
| < Gift for free > | 12x Chitin |
Enki
Atlantean engineer on the same two-branch layout as Ooooyuweh. "Acquire knowledge" takes silk or calming powder from you for knowledge gain; "Acquire materials" trades discussions about Ixion construction, Earth aerodynamics, or industrial development for crafted parts.

|---|---|
| 10x Powder Depression | 1x Kinetic Pearl |
| 20x Silk | 1x Ductile Shell |

Shalala
Antarian prophet. Two branches: "Acquire materials" (regular item trades at 15-30 Polymers) and "Acquire skills" (Permabuffs - each one permanently raises a mental stat for 60 Polymers). Repeats "Take / give, such is the cycle" through her dialogue.

Preferred intermediary
Every Antarian and Atlantean trader on the map has one preferred intermediary: a specific crew member who can build trust with that trader and unlock their trust dialogues. Anyone in the crew can use the regular barter, but only the preferred intermediary triggers the trader's trust progression.
